So we ring the bells every hour, on the hour, and it's a little complicated at first, but you'll get used to it.
Basically on the odd hours, you ring an odd number of bells, and even you ring an even.
To make things clearer, rather than simply ringing 8 bells in succession and having to count each one, you group the
bells into groups of two, so you ring two, two, two, and two.
