F is for Flounder, like you boat in high seas

-Fahrenheit Scale - a temperature scale where 32 is assigned to the temperature at which water freezes and 212 to the temperature at which water boils

-Flash floods – a flood that rises and falls quite rapidly with little or no advance warning, usually as the result of intense rainfall over a relatively small area

-Freeze – a condition occurring over a widespread area when the surface air temperature remains below freezing for a sufficient time to damage certain agricultural crops. A freeze most often occurs as cold air is advected into a region, causing freezing conditions to exist in a deep layer of surface air. Also called advection frost

-Fujita scale – a scale developed by T. Theodore Fujita for classifying tornadoes according to their wind speeds and the damage they cause

-Fulgurite – a rootlike tube that is formed when a lightning strike fuses sand particles together

-Funnel Cloud – a conical (funnel-shaped) cloud usually extending from the base of a cumuliform cloud. Once it touches the ground, it is known as a tornado
