Welcome to Fantail Freddy's Guide to Marinering! This guide will hopefully serve as an aid for you aspiring seamen out
there, with advice and lessons in topics ranging from how to Navigate by the stars to what to order at a bar in Lima. This
site pertains mainly to the cadets of California Maritime Academy, with specific advice and tips for them, but there are also
some general seamanship and life principles discussed as well.
By the way, as we seamen are a brotherly sort, we wouldn't mind a little help with this site. If you've got something
to contribute such as a correction to make or a guide to a port you've been to, send it in, and if we like it, or maybe even
if we don't you may see it up here. We'll have to test personally every and all drink recipe before posting, I'm sure you'll
understand; it's a quality control thing... really.
